CORPUS "GROWS" ACCORDING TO SCHEDULE

Oegstgeest, 6 June 2007 – CORPUS, the attraction of the human body, has reached the highest level of the building today. On the building site near the A44, Els Timmers-van Klink, mayor of Oegstgeest, gave the signal to hoist the flag when the highest level was reached, being the top of the 35 metre high building from which the shape of a human body will appear. The construction of CORPUS is on schedule. The expectation is that the building will be completed at the end of the year. The official opening will be in March 2008.

CORPUS is realised in a transparent building from which the shape of a human body will protrude. The visitor will travel through this body, via several organ theatres,expositions and 3D films and will experience as if he /she is walking in his / her own body. This ‘’journeythrough the human body’’ can be experienced in eight languages.
